An artifact of incredible power from the Dark Ange of Technology has been located in the Vardarion Sector. A number of planets within have not been blessed with the Emperors light in a few centuries and Mankind fights a loosing battle against the Orks and other murderous forces.
Rogue Trader Daxis Frake has accumulated a fleet of Imperial ships and intends on recovering the artifact. Imperial forces include elements from Legiones Astartes chapters who officially are taking a leading role in the reconquering, of the sector leaving the Rogue Traders agents to find and locate the artifact.
Meanwhile a despoiler class star ship, known to have been linked with the Heretic Astartes has been seen entering the sector….
The Warhammer 40,000 league begins.
Crusade Rules
In order to participate in this Crusade, you will need an army of miniatures, Relevant Codex and Warhammer 40,000 rule-book. The rules in play are from the main rule-book, codex and relevant errata from the Warhammer Community website. This includes Codex entries considered “Legends”. Please familiarize yourself with the Narrative Play section of the main Rule-book.
All random tables will be chosen by the GM. This includes Battle Traits, Weapon Enhancements, Psychic Fortitude and Battle Scars. The main influence on the decision is narrative.
Records
In all cases it is your responsibility to keep accurate records of your campaign progress. Although the store will keep a record of your progress and this can be accessed should it be required.
Games.
You are welcome to play a crusade game at any time the store is open.
Miniatures
The following rules to all models that are played in store for the duration of the Warhammer 40,000 Crusade.
All miniatures must be painted to a battlefield ready standard minimum.
Standard basing does not officially exist, you do not need to re-base your army to play in this game. If you are fielding a model on what would be a smaller or larger base than is usual, please be generous to your opponent with you measuring of movement and ranges.
Non-standard models (Proxies, counts as and third party) may be used under the following restrictions.
All non-standard models must be approved for use.
They must fit in with the general aesthetic of the forces being represented.
The equipment must be represented on the model.
There must be clear consistency with all non-standard models and their equipment.
It must be obvious to your opponent and spectators what that model represents.
